Chilango is a term people use to refer a person who was born in Mexico City.

Where the Chilangos journey began
Brother and sister duo, Marlem Power and Abraham Ramos were born and raised in Mexico City.

As Chilangos, they immigrated to Canada, and their love for cooking gave them the opportunity to represent Mexico in 2011, at the Belleville Waterfront and Ethnic Festival. Their Mexican cuisine was greatly accepted by the community.

Their catering experience gave them the opportunity to share the traditional flavours of Mexico City in many locally catered events in the Quinte region.

And now, Marlem and Abraham look forward to sharing their family recipes with the community all year round.
