SUMMARY:Chamber Breakfast - BELL Let's Talk 2026
DESCRIPTION:Chamber Breakfast Wednesday\, Jan. 21st\n\nBell Let's Talk envisions a Canada where everyone can access the mental health support they need. This year marks the 16th annual Bell Let's Talk Day\, with the theme "Taking a Moment for Mental Health\," encouraging all of us to pause\, reflect\, connect\, and take meaningful action.\n\nDid you know? One of the greatest challenges for those struggling with mental illness is overcoming stigma and talking about it is an important first step. In 2025\, Bell committed an additional $10 million to mental health initiatives\, bringing their total investment to $184 million since 2010.\n\nFor our "Bell Let's Talk Over Breakfast" event\, we will be joined by mental health professionals for a conversation about building workplace cultures that recognize the importance of regularly taking a moment for our mental well-being and practical ways to support that in our organizations.\n\n\n\nFEATURED PANELISTS Include:\n\n\n\n\n\nAlso joining the discussion is Matt Howell\, PPF Group of Companies. Matt manages the Chamber Plan - the provider of group benefits\, exclusive to Chamber members. Matt will be talking about the importance of providing an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for your employees. An EAP offers free short-term counselling\, referrals and resources for personal and work-related issues like stress\, mental health\, financial/legal problems and substance abuse - aiming to support your employee's well-being and performance. \n\nThis is our first breakfast of 2026\, and we look forward to starting the year with meaningful conversation and connection.Join us and enjoy a full breakfast buffet.\n\n\n\nProvide a $50 gift certificate at a local business (we hope you will choose a Chamber member) and you will have the opportunity to tell your story to everyone in the room. You will have 2 minutes at the podium in exchange for the prize (Must NOT be a voucher toward a purchase).\n\nWe will take the first TWO submissions entered. The submission form is available when you register.\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER. \n\nThanks to our breakfast sponsor:
