The Batawa Lions Easter Egg Hunt is fast approaching once again! Another fun family Easter Weekend thanks to the combined efforts of the Batawa Lions Club, the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC), and the Batawa Development Corporation (BDC). Now in its 21st year, the Batawa Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, March 30th, and will be a great event for kids (and adults) of all ages. Running from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event will include a pancake breakfast, face painting, balloon animals, alpaca petting zoo, a firetruck and police car display, and of course the hunts, with infants (0) to five (5) years old at 10:30 a.m. and six (6) to twelve (12) year olds searching at 11:30 a.m.

The price will be $5 for the Easter Egg Hunt, $8 for a kid’s pancake breakfast, $10 for an adult pancake breakfast, and $30 for a family pancake breakfast (this includes two guardians and up to three kids). The Easter Egg Hunt is FREE with the purchase of a kid’s breakfast! The Easter Egg Hunt will have enough chocolate and goodies for 700 kids. Registration will be on the day of the event on a first-come, first-serve basis. So be sure to arrive early, as supplies are limited.
